Check out our Saint Rita of Cascia Adorn a locker, classroom, dorm room, or workspace with this beautiful, high-quality, glossy poster!
This patron Saint of impossible cases experienced the suffering and mercy of Christ's Passion in the midst of two vocations. She was firstly married to a violent man, who harmed her and was eventually murdured. Their two sons swore revenge for their father's death and soon afterwards were killed from deadly illnesses. However, by the grace of God and Rita's humble prayers for the conversion of their hearts, each repented and forgave before dying. After several years of imploring, St. Rita was allowed to enter the Augustinian nuns. There, she shared in Christ's Passion by physically bearing a thorn from Christ's crown on her forehead. She died in the 15th century from tuberculosis. As the patron of difficult marriages, this poster can be used to teach children about St. Rita, to pray for their parents who struggle.
Designed and printed in Steubenville, Ohio, this poster is ideal for church walls and displays, Catholic schools, homes, and Catholic businesses. Teach the faith to your children, your parish, or just yourself with our catechetical posters!
